Find your fashion inspiration in New York City. Ryliss Bod has put together another fun New York trip, scheduling to see Mood Designer Fabrics store, fabric store of choice on Project Runway, along with Metro Textiles, Paron Fabrics, M & J Trims plus more wonderful fabric and trim stores in the garment district. The Metropolitan Museum opens a large exhibit of Charles James "Father of Couture" and see in person Kenneth D. King's garments in his studio, tour HGTV's "Home, Strange Home" designed by Apryl Miller and have plenty of free time to see the sights and take in a play.






Many choose to fly direct from Seattle early in the morning on May 12th and stay at the Staybridge Suites in Times Square. 
Each room has a full kitchen and breakfast is offered dailey.

Instructor Bio:
Ryliss Bod is the Director and Head Instructor of the Sewing and Design School and has extensive teaching experience teaching Fashion Construction & Design at a Washington State Technical College. She instructed courses for both continuing education and career training in all levels of sewing construction, home decor construction, fashion accessory construction, fashion design, fitting & pattern alterations, pattern making, textiles, history of fashion and quilting.

She received her teaching degree and studied art, clothing construction and textiles at Central Washington University, pattern-making and CAD from Gerber Technology, fashion design at the Paris Fashion Institute and pattern-making and construction techniques from Kenneth D. King and countless others.

Throughout her career she developed workshops and fashion shows, hired instructors and conducted fashion and fabric shopping field trips to Portland, San Francisco and New York. Currently Ryliss is a contributing Editor at Sew News Magazine.
