Drape a custom Knit Block & Draft a Sleeve Pattern in a 3 Day Workshop with Lynda Maynard

Friday and Saturday -A knit will be DRAPED directly onto the body for a custom fit.  Once that is fitted, a sleeve pattern will be DRAFTED. This method was featured in the 2016 summer issue of Threads Magazine and a Sleeve article in a later issue.

Using this, students can create a basic knit block paper pattern for knit tops, tunics, dresses and tank dresses in a weekend. This pattern may be also used to create a woven sloper.

Sunday- Lynda will guide you through the steps of using your knit block pattern and sleeves to alter a commercial pattern and quick design changes.  This is based on her article recently in Threads Magazine and her CD book De-Mystyifying Fit $27.95 here or $35.95 International orders here.
