Drape a custom Knit Block, draft a sleeve pattern and learn to use them with Lynda Maynard in a 3 day weekend of fun.
Saturday - Sunday: A knit will be DRAPED directly onto the body for a perfect fit. Once that is fitted, a sleeve pattern will be DRAFTED.
Using this, students will create a basic knit block paper pattern for knit tops, tunics, dresses and tank dresses in a weekend. This pattern may be also used to create a woven sloper.
Monday, Lynda will guide you through the steps of using your Moulage's Top sloper or draped knit pattern block and sleeve patterns on commercial patterns* and quick design changes. This is based on her CD book De-Mystifying Fit $27.95 here or $35.95 internatiooal orders here.
Kit Fee for the three days $50. Additional muslin in a variety of widths and Tap Sheeting will be available for purchase to copy your patterns onto.
