Five 3-hour classes
1st class – October 9, 2-5 pm. Your pattern will be altered to fit your measurement before sewing. Bring in your pattern and fabric to this class. Layout, cut and mark pattern pieces.
2nd class – October 30, 2-5 pm. Test fabric to select fusible interfacing. Fuse interfacing to facings. Test stitching, pressing and start sewing the collar, sleeve bands and pocket flap and lining.
3rd class - November 20, 2-5 pm, Attach pocket flap and pocket. Attach sleeve band. Sew together the body of the coat.
4th class - November 27, 2-5, Attach the collar, shoulder pads and insert the lining.
5th class – December 11, 2-5 Hem the sleeves and bottom of coat. Topstitch and buttonholes/buttons. If you need another class, you may register for December 5, 2-5 for $65.

Kenneth D. King PDF Lined Raglan Sleeve Coat Pattern, $21.95, Click here. Take this to any printer with a large printer. Note that the pattern says you will need sew in interfacing and silk organza and no sewing instructions are included. I will provide this in class.
Fabric- 2 ½ - 3 yards 60” wide
4-6 buttons, 1 to 1 ¼”
All-purpose sewing thread
Lining – 2 ½ yards of 45” wide
Raglan Sleeve Shoulder pads, not foam
Fabric scissors, trimming scissors, seam ripper, pins, fabric marking pens or chalk
