I want to share my love of sewing Linen, so I am offering a one-day class complete with *Linen fabric, thread, and patterns, sewing machine and serger, including lunch. You just need to bring your own sewing pins, sewing scissors and basic tools.

This class is for an advanced beginner, meaning someone who has used a sewing machine before and sewn at least 1 project.I realize everyone sews at different speeds, but I am going to try hard to keep you together and complete the shirt by the end of the class. If you do not complete the shirt, another time will be offered.

The class size is limited to 4 students, men and women, so we have room to spread and layout our fabrics.

Some of the most comfortable pieces of clothing I have worn have been made with Linen. One of the easiest fabrics to sew is Linen. I have a great method for reducing the lifetime of the wrinkles Linen is known for. And now there is Linen fabric treated for you that has reduced shrinkage and wrinkles making it a ready to sew fabric!

IL019 BLEACHED FS Signature Finish - 100% Linen - Medium (5.3 oz/yd²)

Bleached color is achieved by "stripping" the natural pigment out of the fibers (just like you would with bleaching hair). What you are left with is a very soft shade that is just ever so slightly an off-white color. 

Bleached is the basics of any project and loves being dyed. It is what we use to dye the colors. A truly versatile base and a must-have addition to your fabric repertoire.

At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces, this 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer nor heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.

The Signature Finish was developed exclusively for Fabric-Store.com using a special process that makes this linen super soft with a comfy, classic look you'll love at first sight.

As a bonus, this process removes almost all the initial shrinkage, giving you more fabric to get your projects done.

This finish makes the linen as soft as butter. Yep, 100% linen that feels and drapes 

and sews as no linen you have ever encountered. Because the fabric has been pre-shrunk for you - it will be less than the base cloth width.
