Blazer and the Classic French Jacket Series, 2-5 Sessions - Saturday 9:30-12:30 pm



This is a series of Contemporary Tailoring Techniques to construct a Blazer or Classic French Jacket. 

Woven fabric, Stretch Woven fabric or Knits may be used. 

You will start this class with a well fitted pattern and all your supplies. You may use any blazer or Classic French jacket pattern.   If your pattern is unlined, we will make a lining pattern.  If you need to fit your pattern first,  we a have a pattern alteration class Click Here

In this next step in the series, you will Layout, cut  your Blazer or the Classic French Jacket pattern, mark darts and clip matching points.  Pre-testing the seaming and fusible interfacing.will begin. You will continue the process of constructing the jacket in the following sessions.

There are no make ups for these classes.

There may be sewing work required between classes, and there may not.  Everyone sews at a different speed.

You will need to bring your own sewing machine.  If you need to rent a class room machine, click here.
